Even though Syracuse lost Megan Carney and Emily Hawryschuk halfway through the 2021 season, it still went to the national championship. This season, Kayla Treanor returns to her alma matter with those same championship aspirations. While the Orange lost sophomore standout Emma Ward for the season, they are returning much of their 2021 talent. Carney and Hawryschuk are both coming back from their injuries, while All-Americans Sarah Cooper and Meaghan Tyrrell are returning as well.
