Syracuse freshman wide receiver Ed Hendrix will miss the remainder of the 2018 season after undergoing surgery on a lower body injury, SU Athletics announced Wednesday.

The specific nature of the injury was not revealed, nor was the procedure, though it was performed by Syracuse team doctor Todd Battaglia, an orthopedic surgeon.
 
A four-star prospect out of Washington, D.C.’s Woodson High School, Hendrix didn’t record a catch, kick return or carry through three games.
