SU offers tickets for 2015 NCAA tournament games

Students will be able to purchase tickets for the East regional games of the 2015 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, which will be held in the Carrier Dome this season.

Syracuse University student season ticket holders received an email from the Carrier Dome Box Office on Wednesday outlining the process for purchasing tickets for the tournament games. Tickets went on sale Tuesday morning and will be available until May 31, or until they sell out. Remaining tickets will then go on sale to the general public.

Tickets can be purchased for $140 or $185 depending on the seat location, and include access to all games played at the Dome on March 27 and March 29, 2015. Up to eight tickets can be purchased, according to the NCAA ticketing website.

It will be the 11th time the Dome has hosted games for the Tournament, and the sixth time since 1997 it will serve as an East regional site for the NCAA championship.

Joe Giansante, SU Athletics chief communications officer, did not immediately return a phone call and an email. Jeremiah Maher, associate athletics director of ticket sales and operations, also did not immediately respond to an email.
